Elizabeth Ledoux has a passion for helping privately-held business owners through transitions… she has done this for almost 30 years with great compassion and measurable success! In this workshop, she helps owners create a roadmap which allows their business to thrive into the future, both for their families and their communities.

In this session owners will learn and discuss how:

  • ownership transition is a journey, not an event
  • the importance of placing relationships first and how to do that
  • using a roadmap as your best tool, even if your transition is 10 years or more away.

Family owned business add another dimension of complexity when it comes to transitions. Let Elizabeth show you through creative and engaging materials how to create and put healthy family business governance in place. Other key topics covered are:

  • family councils
  • family policies
  • how to create and put healthy family governance in place
  • the importance of “practicing” good governance for a few years before the transition
