Culture of One —- Creating and sustaining an effective organizational culture is vital to succeeding in today’s ever-changing business landscape. According to best-selling author and company culture expert Roger Conner, “mastering the ability to accelerate culture change is an essential core competency for every leader who wants to keep his or her organization competitive and focused.” Whether you are trying to adjust to a client’s culture or improve your own – it all begins with you. This highly interactive workshop will explore 3 critical success factors that every small business owner must address to maximize their effectiveness and improve their culture. Questions this workshop will focus on include:

  • How can your company’s culture impact the success of your business?
  • As a business owner, how do your actions impact your company culture?
  • What’s holding you back from achieving higher levels of excellence

Presenter:

Dale Halm is Dale Halm from APSa small business coach/trainer and has held multiple leadership positions for a Fortune 50 company. He has contributed significantly to record setting start-up operations and large-scale change initiatives resulting in multi-million dollar cost savings. Dale’s extensive experience (20+ years) includes various training and organization development roles at Intel, Freescale Semiconductor, and Arizona Public Service Company. He is a Registered Organization Development Consultant (RODC) and holds both a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University. He is the author of The Excellence Agenda, and a contributing author of the book, Best Practices in Leadership Development and Organizational Change. His writings on change management have been featured in Western Energy Magazine and in the OD Practitioner Journal. Dale has been a speaker at numerous business conferences including the Phoenix CEO Group, the Society for Human Resource Management, The Association for Quality & Productivity, and the Noyce Foundation.
